Sculpture - Integrated (Grade 5)

In connection with the beginning lessons of wood working students make an egg shape focusing on the sphere form. Next the egg-sphere is transformed into the plant metamorphosis, starting with bud then transforming to fruit. In connection with the Greeks the human form is introduced and an understanding of the human proportions. Figure sculpture is introduced in a static form i.e., standing and sitting.
